About AQA A Level Maths

The AQA A Level Maths exam (specification 7357) is made up of three two-hour written papers, each worth 100 marks. AQA A Level Maths Paper 1 covers pure mathematics only, from proof, algebra and functions to differentiation, integration and numerical methods. Paper 2 combines pure mathematics with mechanics, including kinematics, forces and Newton’s laws and moments. Paper 3 combines pure mathematics with statistics, including sampling, probability, statistical distributions and hypothesis testing, with questions that use the large data set.
