About CIE A Level Maths

The CIE A Level Maths exam (Cambridge International syllabus 9709) is built from six papers. Paper 1 is Pure Mathematics 1, Paper 2 is Pure Mathematics 2, Paper 3 is Pure Mathematics 3, Paper 4 is Mechanics, and Papers 5 and 6 are Probability and Statistics 1 and 2. The AS Level combines Paper 1 with one of Papers 2, 4 or 5, and the full A Level combines Papers 1 and 3 with two applied papers.
