WJEC A Level Chemistry exam questions and past papers
Free WJEC A Level Chemistry exam questions by topic, with mark schemes, past papers and model answers.
How to use the exam questions
Pick a topic and work through as many questions as you need until it really clicks. Spend extra time on the topics you find hardest, as that is where the biggest improvements come from. Each file includes the mark scheme, so check every answer as you go, see where you lost marks and learn exactly what a full-mark answer looks like.

About WJEC A Level Chemistry
The WJEC A Level Chemistry exam (specification 1410) is taken as five units. At AS, Unit 1, The Language of Chemistry, Structure of Matter and Simple Reactions, covers formulae, equations, atomic structure, bonding and the periodic table, and Unit 2, Energy, Rate and Chemistry of Carbon Compounds, covers thermochemistry, rates, equilibrium and organic chemistry. At A2, Unit 3, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, covers redox, electrode potentials, transition metals, kinetics and energetics, and Unit 4, Organic Chemistry and Analysis, covers stereoisomerism, aromatic and carbonyl compounds, nitrogen compounds and analytical techniques. Unit 5 is a practical examination.
