About Edexcel International A Level Biology

The Edexcel International A Level Biology exam is taken as six units. At International AS, Unit 1 covers molecules, diet, transport and health, Unit 2 covers cells, development, biodiversity and conservation and Unit 3 is a written practical skills paper. At International A2, Unit 4 covers energy, environment, microbiology and immunity, Unit 5 covers respiration, internal environment, coordination and gene technology and Unit 6 is a second practical skills paper.
